Quick answer
Paco's Powder Coating provides sandblasting for Rutledge, GA and Morgan County. We strip rust, paint and old powder coat from wheels, vehicle parts, railings, furniture and equipment down to clean metal, then powder coat in the same shop if you want. Large items can be blasted on-site. Call 937-554-6414 for pricing.
Sandblasting in Rutledge, Morgan County
Rutledge is a small town in Morgan County, near Hard Labor Creek State Park, with farms, homes and small shops. Rust, flaking paint and old coatings come off in minutes, not days.
We blast parts in-house at our Watkinsville shop, and larger jobs can be blasted at your location.
What we sandblast for Rutledge customers
Common blasting jobs from Rutledge include:
- Gates, railings and fencing
- Patio furniture and benches
- Truck wheels and bumpers
- Tractor and mower parts
- Trailer parts
Step by step
Every job follows the same steps:
- Look it over. We check for rust-through, cracks and old repairs before we start.
- Mask. We plug threads and cover sealing and bearing surfaces.
- Blast. Old finishes, rust and scale are removed evenly across the whole part.
- Next step. Most parts move straight into powder coating in the same shop, so there's one drop-off and one pickup.
Shop blasting or on-site blasting
Small and medium parts are blasted in our shop. For larger items that can't be hauled in, such as big gates, trailers or fixed equipment, we can often bring the blasting to your location. Describe the job when you call and we'll tell you which makes sense.
Blasting before powder coating in Rutledge
Sandblasting is the first step of every powder coating job in Rutledge. Clean, profiled metal is what lets the powder bond and stay put for years. Need a thin, heat-resistant finish instead? Ask about Cerakote.
