Your local powder coater in Watkinsville

Watkinsville is the Oconee County seat and our home. The shop is on Greensboro Highway, a short drive from downtown, Harris Shoals Park and the neighborhoods off Experiment Station Road and Hog Mountain Road. For most Watkinsville customers that means dropping parts off on the way to work and picking them up a few days later, without hauling them to Atlanta.

Being local also means you can stop in, see color samples in person and talk through the job with Jared or Carson before anything goes in the blast cabinet.

What Watkinsville customers bring us

A lot of what we coat comes from right here in Oconee County:

  • Wheels and calipers for cars, trucks and Jeeps, with tires dismounted and remounted in-house
  • Lift kits, control arms, bumpers and frame parts for trucks and off-road builds
  • Wrought-iron railings, gates and patio furniture that need to survive Georgia sun, pollen and summer storms
  • Tractor, mower and farm-equipment parts from the county's farms and acreage
  • Small parts batches for local shops and fabricators

Our process, start to finish

Every part is stripped and sandblasted to clean metal, masked where threads or bearing surfaces need protection, sprayed electrostatically on our Powder X batch system and baked until the powder flows into a hard, even shell. Parts with bushings can go through our bushing press before and after coating. Read more on our main powder coating page.

Colors and finishes

We use Prismatic Powders, so the color list runs into the thousands: gloss black, satin bronze, candy red, textured finishes, metallics and more. Bring a sample if you need a match. For thin, high-heat finishes on firearms or knives, ask about Cerakote.

Why Watkinsville picks Paco's

We're a family-run, veteran-owned shop (owner Jared Pitts served in the US Navy), Master Powder Certified, and every one of our Google reviews is five stars. See the work in our project gallery or shop videos, then call 937-554-6414 or use the form above for a quote.

Wheel powder coating in Watkinsville

Watkinsville drivers can drop a set of wheels at our Greensboro Highway shop, still mounted on tires, and pick them up finished. We handle the dismount, blasting, coating, curing and remount under one roof, so there's no running between a tire shop and a coater.

Truck and Jeep wheels, factory alloys, classic steel wheels and motorcycle rims are all fair game. Ask about matching calipers while the wheels are off.

Custom black powder coated driveway gate

Gates, fencing & railings

Custom Gate Powder Coating Watkinsville

Driveway gates, walk gates, fence panels and railings take the worst of Georgia weather: sun, rain, pollen and sprinkler overspray. Paint chips and rust bleeds through within a few seasons. Powder coating bonds a thicker, oven-cured finish to the metal that holds its color and resists chipping far longer.

We sandblast old paint and rust down to bare steel, repair-ready, then coat and cure in our shop. New custom gates from your fabricator can come straight to us for a finish before install. Gloss or satin black, bronze, textured or a custom color to match your house trim.

  • Driveway & estate gates, single or double swing
  • Walk gates, fence panels and pool fencing
  • Stair, porch and deck railings
  • Residential and commercial security gates
